Infuse poultry and meats with exceptional flavor while sealing in moisture with our Classic Spice Brine, an aromatic blend of Greek sea salt, aromatics, herbs and spices. Onion, garlic and fennel add savory, herbaceous flavor while pink and black peppercorns provide complexity and balance. Bright lemon peel adds a touch of citrus, rounded out with the classic flavors of sage, rosemary and thyme.

· For use in brining applications. Suggested brining time is one hour per pound of pork or poultry.

· Irregular blend of coarse salt, aromatics, herbs and spices

· Naturally gluten free

Store in a dry, cool place.

Recipe: Grilled Pork Chops

Classic Spice Brine infuses bone-in pork chops with flavor and moisture thanks to a flavorful blend of coarse Greek sea salt, savory aromatics, citrus and a fragrant blend of spices including fennel, pink and black peppercorns, sage, rosemary and thyme.

Cook time: 10 min

Total time: 75 min

Ingredients

  • 2 Bone In Pork Chops, 8 oz each
  • 2 Tablespoons Classic Spice Brine
  • 2 Cups Water
  • 1 Tablespoon Vegetable Oil
  • 1 1/2 Teaspoons Kosher Salt

Directions

  1. Bring 2 cups water to a simmer in a small stainless pot. Add the spice brine mix and stir well. Remove from heat, and stir until salt is dissolved. Let cool to room temerature.
  2. Pour the brine into a quart container that will hold the brine and chops under the water. Refrigerate for one hour. After an hour, remove from the chops from the brine, rinse and pat dry with a paper towel.
  3. Heat an open grill to medium heat. Brush the chops with the vegetable oil, season lightly with kosher salt, and grill on both sides, turning at least twice. Cook for 8 to 10 minutes depending on the thickness of the chop. Internal temperature should read 145F.
  4. Serve with your favorite accompaniments and or sauce.
