
Herbes de Provence is a mixture of summer herbs that are common to southern France. The hot temperature of southern France in late summer is ideal for growing these herbs, that include Thyme, Blue Lavender Flowers, Rosemary, Marjoram, Fennel Seed, Savory, & Basil.
Suggested Uses
Herbs de Provence is a flavorful addition to Mediterranean and French cuisines. It tastes wonderful on grilled or baked kabobs, chicken and white fish. Also use it in soups and stews.
Basic Preparation
Use Herbes de Provence as you would any dried herb. Add 1 to 2 teaspoons, whole or crushed, to your recipes as desired.
