RECIPE

Crusted Seared Tuna with Sweet Soy-Lime Vinaigrette

Ingredients

• 2 Teaspoons 1890 Cloister Key Lime Honey
• 2 Teaspoons Soy Sauce
• 2 Limes, juiced
• 1 Tablespoon 1890 Sesame Oil
• 2 Tablespoons 1890 UP Extra Virgin Olive Oil, divided
• 2 Tablespoons 1890 Salt-Free Asian Seasoning
• 2 Ahi Tuna Steak, 6 to 8 ounces each

Directions

1. Whisk honey, soy sauce and lime juice together in bowl, then slowly whisk in sesame oil and 1 tablespoon olive oil. Set vinaigrette aside.
2. Heat skillet to high. Place Salt-Free Asian Seasoning on plate and dredge tuna steaks on both sides.
3. Add remaining vegetable oil to hot pan and carefully place both tuna steaks in oil. Sear first side for 30 seconds, turn steaks and sear other side for 30 seconds.
4. Remove tuna and allow to cool for 5 minutes. Slice into 1/2-inch pieces.
5. Serve with vinaigrette.
